(Dân trí) - Giải thưởng cao quý của truyền hình Mỹ - giải Emmy vừa công bố danh sách đề cử cho năm 2009. Giải Emmy vẫn luôn được coi là giải Oscar của thể loại truyền hình do Viện hàn lâm quốc gia về khoa học và nghệ thuật truyền hình Mỹ tổ chức.
Năm nay, đài truyền hình PBS dẫn đầu với 41 đề cử, sau đó là các đài CBS (23 đề cử), ABC và HBO/Cinemax (13 đề cử)…
Tại lễ trao giải Emmy lần thứ 61 này, nữ nhà báo Barbara Walters sẽ vinh dự được trao giải Thành tựu suốt đời vì những cống hiến của cô cho ngành truyền hình Mỹ. Barbara Walters đã làm việc hơn 30 năm tại kênh ABC và 15 năm tại kênh NBC.
Lễ trao giải Emmy 2009 sẽ diễn ra vào ngày 21/9 tới tại New York. Sự kiện này sẽ thu hút sự có mặt của nhiều nhân vật nổi tiếng trong làng điện ảnh, giới truyền thông Mỹ.
